Mother Church Pew Presents: The Eagle Rock Gospel Singers at The High Watt on 6/21/16

ERGS

The Eagle Rock Gospel Singers will bring their wild, soulful energy to Nashville on Tuesday, June 21st, and Mother Church Pew is proud to present the festivities!

The collective was formed in 2010 by roommates Will Wadsworth and Jeremy Horton, who decided to host jam sessions and gospel sing-alongs in their home–a popular monthly occurrence which soon turned into a band that has recorded and released albums, played major festivals, shared stages with the likes of  alt-j and JD McPherson, and torn up the highways touring coast-to-coast bringing their unique brand of rollicking, rootsy gospel music to the eager masses.

Their summer tour brings them to the Music City on June 21st to perform at The High Watt with singer-songwriter Leah Blevins, who sounds like 1960s Dolly Parton with the storytelling chops of Joni Mitchell, and who is definitely poised to be Nashville’s next big thing. You aren’t going to want to miss this one, y’all. Stay tuned today for more on this momentous occasion!
