Such is the tale, one as old as time, of “Juanita,” the new song by Australicana band Good Will Remedy, which bears the name of its intoxicating heroine who has cast a spell on her admirer–much to the admirer’s chagrin and against his best intentions.
“Lyrically Juanita plays on the idea of being under a spell and has a bit of fun with some of the imagery around trying to leave and never being allowed to make that final step,” the band says of the track. “The song has more of a soul-type feel and has been a real hit to play live.” “Juanita” is one of three songs on the band’s forthcoming EP Witness that credits all the members as songwriters.
