Video Premiere: “Miracle” by New Reveille

These days, having a banjo in your band doesn’t make you Americana. All the elements have to be in place—stellar songwriting, outstanding musicianship, creative innovation, and a unique ability to connect with those who listen. Raleigh, North Carolina-based Americountry outfit  New Reveille has it all, banjo included.

The award-winning ensemble, who recently signed with Loud & Proud Records and have been mesmerizing standing room only crowds since 2013, are now working on their debut album with multi-platinum, Grammy-Award winning Nashville producer/engineer Ben Fowler (Jerrod Niemann, Sarah Evans, Lucy Hale, Kip Moore, Rascal Flatts, Ruby Amanfu). Today, New Reveille unveils the live performance video for their song “Miracle.”

With sweetly-rendered multi-part harmonies, yearning string arrangements, and lyrical depth, “Miracle” gives us a glimpse of the raw talent and stripped down beauty New Reveille possesses. “‘Miracle’ is about growing from loss and learning to cherish what precious time we have with the people we love,” explains Daniel Cook (banjo/guitar) about the song. “Life is a gift, a miracle, no matter how long it lasts.”
