Premiere: “Without Me” by Brett Benowitz

Folk singer/songwriter Brett Benowitz was raised on a well-balanced diet of Patsy Cline, Dylan, The Doors, and The Dead, and began writing his own songs as a child. His journey has culminated in Burn To Glow, his debut solo studio album, set for release on October 12th.

“Burn To Glow is a heartfelt and universal concept album varying from fast-paced rock jams to broken down soulful ballads. With nine songs, each representing a different phase in the metamorphosis of becoming our best selves through enduring life’s hardships,” Benowitz explains. “Burn to Glow offers us something we can all relate to: a reason for our troubles.”

Today, Benowitz unveils “Without Me,” a track from the album about acceptance, closure, and moving on. With its simple acoustic production gilded by his silky tenor, Benowitz directs our attentions higher, and encourages us to recognize the beauty of where we find ourselves.
