“Up To Me” – New Music from Sera Cahoone

After three albums out via iconic Seattle-based alt-rock label Sub Pop Records, indiecana songcrafter and former Band of Horses drummer Sera Cahoone is embracing her earliest influences with her upcoming roots-centric album, From Where I Started, set for release March 24th.

The Seattle-by-way-of-Colorado artist, who is no stranger to honky-tonk twang and the freewheeling Americana spirit, has unleashed “Up To Me,” to give us all a taste of the greatness in store for fans and fans-in-the-making. “Up To Me” is a tender declaration of hopes for a love; Cahoone’s silky vocals are propelled by elegantly skillful guitar and banjo finger-picking, like a delicate leaf that falls from a brookside tree and gracefully travels atop the water to its next incarnation. Swoon.
