New York City-based rock n’ roll revivalists Jeremy & The Harlequins have premiered a new single entitled “No One Cares,” and have announced a supporting run of tour dates with singer/songwriter Eli Paperboy Reed. “When Paul McCartney can’t get into a Grammy after party, what does that say about the state of rock ‘n roll?” says vocalist Jeremy Fury. “No one cares? We do. And this song is about bringin’ that energy back.”
The band had an unprecedented 2015 with their debut album American Dreamer; channeling the influences of 1950s and ’60s rock’n’roll through the (cell phone) camera lens of 2016, Jeremy Fury (vocals), Craig Bonich, Patrick Meyer (guitars), Stevie Fury (drums), and Bobby Ever (bass), have once again collectively captured the sound of New York both in the here and now and the there and then.
Fans can expect the band’s new full-length album Into the Night to be released later in 2016 on Yep Roc Records.
