After close to 47 years of music, Lee Fields, backed by The Expressions and their incomparable soul-sound musicianship, recently released a new album, Special Night, via Big Crown Records, which has earned them significant spots on this year’s festival circuit, ending a spectacular run with a performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
For the album’s title track, Fields has unleashed a new video which presents a simple visual concept, and allows us to focus on the smokey smoothness of his soulful vocal approach combined with the heartfelt groove of his remarkable counterparts, The Expressions, check it out:
