Dear Wormwood, the second full-length by Southern Texas based siblings, Maggie and Tyler Heath, known as The Oh Hellos, is a collection of songs inspired by C.S. Lewis’ The Screwtape Letters and Patrick Rothfuss’ The Name of the Wind, mythology and folklore, and apocalyptic literature.
The album is out today on Elektra Records.
With a full-tilt sound and energetic approach to their music, The Oh Hellos push themselves to areas that Americana and folk work seldom traveled. Disregarding the sleepy tendencies of the scene, the band charges ahead powerfully, bring a rock show environment to a notoriously careful genre.
